Officer receives nomination Published March 10, 2014 By Airman 1st Class Solomon Cook 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- An officer here received the nomination for the 2013 Outstanding Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Instructor of the Year for Air Combat Command. Capt. Dwayne, 325th Fighter Wing, won the 9th Air Force ISR award and is now competing at the ACC level for his outstanding leadership and performance. "He is an outstanding instructor and officer," said Maj. Robin, 325th FW. "We were really excited that he was recognized by the 9th Air Force. He is heavily involved in training as well as the combat mission side of the house." Dwayne will have his nomination reviewed amid his peers at the ACC level, and if he wins will compete at the Air Force level. To earn recognition for the nomination, Dwayne developed and led two Tyndall wartime weapons and tactics training workshops. He also crafted Combat Mission Qualification Training program and helped establish the wing's first intelligence Combat Mission Ready program. In addition, he oversaw ACC approved Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment academic overhaul. He single handedly rebuilt 35 percent of the 196-hour course in two months. The ISR Instructor of the Year Award is the highest honor among the intelligence community, Robin said. "I would be thrilled for Capt. Dwayne to win as the ACC Officer Instructor of the Year and see him get the recognition for his training programs and leadership he has brought to the 325thFW," Robin said.
