The 325th Civil Engineer Squadron expanded the types of items accepted in the 50 large recycling trailers located around Tyndall. Plastic, paper products and aluminum cans can now be recycled along with flattened cardboard via the trailers if they are bagged separately.

"We are recycling today for a greener tomorrow," said Edwin Wallace, 325th CES pollution prevention program manager.

To emphasize this fact and to clear up any confusion, the CES recently removed the previous "Cardboard Only" signs and replaced them with signs just stating "Recyclables."
