Scheduling a physical fitness test is now quicker and easier thanks to a web-based system.

Instead of coordinating with Unit Program Fitness Monitors to sign up for their test slots, Airman now complete that task with a few clicks of a mouse.

"It keeps the process easy and convenient for all," said Staff Sgt. Shauna Robinson, 325th Comptroller Squadron and 325th Wing Staff Agencies UPFM. "Members can do everything from their desks quickly with limited time away from the mission."

The SharePoint site allows for fast and simple registration, tracking and cancelation of physical fitness tests all in a central location.

To register for a physical fitness test:

1. Log on to https://cs3.eis.af.mil/sites/27405

2. Click the Calendar link in the left side bar.

3. Select the date and time/track of test.

4. In the new page, review your information and click the modify link to add your training POC/Supervisor.

5. In the popup, click the book, select your supervisor or UFPM and click save.

6. Back at the previous page, review your information again and click the register button. This will send an email to you and your UFPM for confirmation.

7. To unregister for the same test follow, steps one through three and click the unregister button.

This change went into effect shortly after Gen. Mark A. Welsh III, Chief of Staff of the Air Force, sent an email to all Airmen addressing other, Air Force wide changes to the physical fitness test. The email outlines four major changes:

1. Body mass index will be measured if an Airman fails the abdominal circumference portion of the test but passes the other three components with a composite score of 75 percent or above.

2. The fitness appeal process has been realigned with the wing commanders.

3. The passing standards for Airman that can only test one of the fitness components are being adjusted.

4. The walk test is being changed and simplified.

"I believe we have the Department of Defense's best designed, best run Fitness Program, and as a result, we have a force ready for any mission our nation asks us to execute," General Welsh said in the letter to Airmen.
