PTDY for records review discontinued

The Electronic Board Operations Support System was released in July 2012 digitizing official selection records for promotion effectively making permissive TDYs used by Airmen to review those records at the Air Force Personnel Center obsolete according to information from Air Force leadership.

This change affects officers and Senior NCOs meeting a selection or evaluation board for promotion, who can now simply go online using the eBOSS to view their records instead of traveling to the Air Force Personnel Center.

It is imperative that Airmen keep an eye on their records.

"Regardless of the process, it is up to each Airman to be responsible and monitor their own records, whether they go there to do it or they go online to do it," said Chief Master Sgt. Raymond DeVite, 325th Fighter Wing command chief.

Airmen can follow these instructions to view their records:

- Navigate to AFPC Secure via myPers website
- Select "PRDA" under "Available Applications" in AFPC Secure
- Select "PRDA" under "My Sections"
- Select "Selection Folder" under "Available Category" to view "as is" (current state) records
- Select "Board" under "Available Category" to view records as they met a particular eBOSS board (organized by applicable Board ID)
