Southerland
Florida’s 2nd District Representative Steve Southerland (R), was presented a framed F-22 Raptor lithograph complete with wing patch and coin during his first official visit to Tyndall Feb. 24. The presentation was made by Brig. Gen. James Browne, 325th Fighter Wing commander and members of his staff (from left to right) Staff Sgt. Maria Watson, 1st Lt. Maggie O'Grady, Tech. Sgt. Lauren Williams, Chief Master Sgt. Jackie Green, 325th FW command chief, Staff Sgt. Alechia Fields, Maj. Philip Colomy, General Browne, and 1st Lt. Caitlin Fox. Congressman Southerland is a lifelong resident of Panama City. He grew up in the Forest Park neighborhood, attended Mowat Middle School and graduated from A. Crawford Mosley High School in 1983. Representative Southerland served as the Chairman, Bay County Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee and as a 325th Fighter Wing Honorary Commander in 2008. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in November 2010. (U.S. Air Force photo)
