Old fitness center demolition
Col. Michael Fleck, 325th Mission Support Group commander, receives a quick 'how-to' before operating the excavator that will tear out the first chunk of wall to begin the demolition of Tyndall's old fitness center building. "This is a fun part of the progress," Colonel Fleck said. "Tearing down an old facility that has served so many Airman for so many years." The 23,175 square foot building will undergo a five-week demolition process after serving the base for 35 years. (U.S. Air Force photo by Jonathan Gibson)
