Chief's Group Sharp Airman
Senior Airman Christen Abner, 325th Comptroller Squadron, was awarded the Chief's Group Sharp Airman Award for the month of August by the Tyndall Chief's Group. In addition to her primary comptroller duties, she is a Physical Training Leader and Air Force Sergeants Association Treasurer. She participates in the NCO Academy’s Airmen Council and volunteers in the Hearts-to-Hand Program giving food and clothing to the homeless. She is active in the Adopt-a-Highway Program, Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program, and is a mentor at Springfield Elementary School. The award can be given monthly to Airmen E-1 to E-6 who wear their uniforms with pride and demonstrate exemplary professionalism while meeting the whole person concept.
