On behalf of the 325th Fighter Wing, Col. Michael Fleck, 325th Mission Support Group commander, accepted donated clothing from local American Veterans commander, Rocky Bradford, June 7 at AMVETS Post 2298. Mr. Bradford requested to donate clothing to the Air Force for the use of deploying Airmen. "This is another great example of how much our local community cares about our Airmen and all servicemembers," said Colonel Fleck. "The AMVETS members contributed to this country when they were in uniform and they continue to this day." In total, 350 articles of clothing were given away at the exchange. "After reading an article about a deployed member and his unit requesting clothing, I jumped at the opportunity to get the requested items to the military deployed," said Mr. Bradford.
