Brig. Gen. Darryl Roberson, 325th Fighter Wing commander, receives a seasonal flu shot Sept. 21, administered by Staff Sgt. Michael Sousa, 325th Medical Squadron aerospace medical technician. The seasonal flu shot is being given out via mobile visits to active-duty military personnel. According to 325th Medical Group, vaccines will be available to dependents but a date has yet to be determined. Three-hundred doses of the seasonal vaccine will be provided to retirees on a first-come, first-served basis, during Retiree Appreciation Day activities held Nov. 14. Medical Group official stressed that this vaccine should not be confused with the H1N1 vaccine, which they are awaiting both Department of Defense guidance for execution and the clinic supplies.
