TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- A 500-pound explosive detonates at the Air Force Research Laboratory/Detachment 2 Sky X range here. The purpose of the experiment was to validate the blast protection provided by various earth and water-filled barriers, as well as evaluate two building walls in the experiment.
