Commander's Shadow Program

Captain Jackson Whiting, 95th Fighter Squadron flight commander and F-15 instructor pilot, shadows Col. Darryl Roberson, 325th Fighter Wing commander, during the commander’s staff meeting here today. Captain Whiting was one of two 325th FW pilots who trained an entire F-15 squadron while deployed to Saudi Arabia. He was also the lead point of contact for the “Pilot for a Day” program, which provides Tyndall Air Force Base tours for physically challenged youths. Captain Whiting spent the day with Colonel Roberson as part of the Commander’s Shadow Program. He has served eight years in the military and is a native of Columbus, S.C.
