ALI BASE, Iraq -- Senior Airman Brian Pittman, transient alert specialist, signals an Army UH-60 Blackhawk to park here June 30. The Blackhawk is the Army's front-line utility helicopter used for air assault, air cavalry, and aeromedical units. The transient alert team coordinates the safe arrival and departure of aircraft on a daily basis.
