Base Supply

Lieutenant Col. Anthony J. Mullinax, 325th Logistics Readiness Squadron commander, along with the board members of Winston-Salem Industries for the Blind, cut the grand opening ribbon to Tyndall’s new Base Supply Center, Jan. 13. Winston-Salem Industries will operate the supply center and will feature products produced by blind and visually challenged people. “Becoming self-sufficient and being able to support my family was one of the greatest things this program was ever able to give me,” said Anastasia Powell, an advocate for the blind and events coordinator for Winston-Salem Industries. This allows for people with sight disabilities to have a steady income and become self-sufficient, while giving Tyndall a convenient source of supplies.
