Explosive Ordnance Disposal Airmen participate in Eastern Robot Rodeo and Capability Exercise
Staff Sgt. Guadalupe Corona, Senior Airman Sean Standley and Tech. Sgt. William Knight, left to right, with the 327th Civil Engineer Squadron's explosive ordnance disposal flight came in third place at the inaugural Eastern Robotics Rodeo & Capability Exercise in Atlanta, Ga, Aug. 29 - Sept. 2, 2016. The event invited military, federal and local EOD to compete using remotely controlled, hazardous-duty robotic platforms to dismantle inert explosive devices in real-world scenarios and provided an opportunity for participants to network and exchange best practices. This year's event was made possible by the partnership of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office - Technical Support Working Group and the United Kingdom Defense Science and Technology Laboratory.
