Tyndall Munitions Flight keeps Checkered Flag 17-1 armed and ready
Munitions systems specialist transport weapons systems racks to the flightline during Checkered Flag 17-1 and Combat Archer 17-3, two exercises that ran concurrently at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., Dec. 14, 2016. Exercises such as Checkered Flag and Combat Archer are meant to evaluate the performance of coordinating fifth-generation and legacy fighters during large-scale engagements.
