MAC bids farewell to Col Hernandez, welcomes Col Laidlaw as new commander
Claire Sherman, Bay County Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee chairman, presents a MAC coin to U.S. Air Force Col. Brian Laidlaw, incoming 325th Fighter Wing commander, at a MAC-hosted welcoming event at the St. Andrews Yacht Club, Panama City, Fla., June 26, 2018. Laidlaw has served in multiple fighter aircraft assignments, was a legislative fellow in the U.S. Senate, attended the National War College, and spent two years in the Pentagon as a fighter program analyst on the Office of the Secretary of Defense staff. The purpose of the MAC is to promote the development of Bay County’s military community, the military installations located in Bay County, and the military and the civilian personnel assigned to those installations.
