Col. Brian Laidlaw, 325th Fighter Wing commander, salutes the United States flag during the National Anthem and his family hold their hands over their hearts at the annual Veterans Day parade celebration and wreath laying ceremony on Nov. 11, 2019, at Panama City, Florida. The annual event celebrated those who served in the past and to honor the sacrifices made by the service member as well as their families, both at home and abroad. During the ceremony, Laidlaw highlighted the dedication families made as they supported their loved ones' service. Laidlaw identified that the military is a family business because families support the nation's defense as well. Laidlaw was accompanied by his wife Samantha, daughter Taylor and son Braden.
