Saving a life, as simple as a swab
U.S. Air Force Capt. Bethany Young, 325th Medical Group clinical psychologist, swabs her inner cheek for DNA testing at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, Aug. 5, 2021. Young’s DNA will get tested against 17,00 people diagnosed with blood cancers and diseases annually, in hopes she will be a match to save a life through a bone marrow transplant.
