F-35A Nighttime Aerial Refueling
A U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II assigned to the 33rd Fighter Wing at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, receives fuel from a KC-10 Extender over the panhandle of Florida, Aug. 15, 2022. The F-35A has an internal fuel capacity of 18,498 pounds, allowing for a range of more than 1,350 miles with internal fuel and unlimited range with aerial fueling.
