Healing the wounds of war
A building used by the Taliban is rendered inoperable during U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Chase Hoyt’s, 325th Logistics Readiness Squadron noncommissioned officer in charge of inspections, deployment in Kabul, Afghanistan, 2013. The building was bombed because it was used as a hideout, which served as a place for the Taliban to attack convoys as they drove by. (Courtesy photo by Tech. Sgt. Chase Hoyt)
