Tyndall AFB egress flight advances critical safety training

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Cedric Cooper-Laney, 325th Maintenance Squadron egress systems craftsman, instructs Airman 1st Class Rendon Gainey, 325th Maintenance Squadron egress systems journeyman, on proper installation of a flexible linear shaped charge cord at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, Dec. 3, 2025. To ensure proficiency FLSC installation, the egress team acquired a dedicated training canopy, which provided Airmen with realistic, hands-on experience and led to a 100 percent success rate on installations.
