The 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs office is the focal point for information concerning Tyndall people and activities. Public Affairs is responsible for telling the Air Force story to various local, regional and national audiences.

The PA staff provides a variety of services to military members, their families and the local community, such as providing information on Tyndall AFB and 325th FW events and activities. 

The PA office is separated into three divisions: command information, media operations, and community engagement.

Command Information

Command Information is dedicated to ensuring that Tyndall Airmen, their families, and leadership are well-informed about critical base and wing developments. We are the voice of Team Tyndall, sharing impactful stories and imagery.

  • Internal Communications: Providing news and information to base and wing leadership, military members and their families.
  • Storytelling & Photography: Telling the Tyndall story through written articles and professional photography.
  • Official Photo Support: Offering photo support services for Team Tyndall events and personnel.
  • Social Media Management: Overseeing Tyndall's official social media platforms to keep our community connected and engaged.

Media Operations

Media Operations is the official liaison for all media inquiries related to Tyndall AFB. We ensure transparent and effective communication with local, regional, and national news outlets, providing accurate information and access to key personnel.

  • Media Relations: Providing news and information to local, regional and national media outlets about Tyndall AFB events and activities.
  • Interview Facilitation: Fielding all questions from the media and providing opportunities for interviews with wing leadership and experts.
  • Media Training: Offering training to commanders and base personnel on interacting with the media under various circumstances.
  • Public Appearances: Arranging for base spokespeople to appear in local morning television talk shows to discuss events and issues affecting Tyndall.

PA specialists are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

During normal duty hours (7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday):

Important: All media are required to contact Public Affairs prior to entry on Tyndall Air Force Base and must be escorted by a public affairs representative at all times.

Event Support Requests

The 325th FW Public Affairs team provides coverage for wing-level officiated events and higher. We strive to capture and share the significant moments and achievements of our Airmen and the Tyndall mission.

To ensure adequate planning and resource allocation, customers should submit their request at least 72 hours in advance.
