Items to Bring  

Bring a copy of your student recall roster (Attachment 1 from Welcome email), AF Form 422 (if applicable), AF Form 469 (if applicable), personal/government laptop, a notebook and pen, and landing fee.  

Medical Profiles 
Contact your unit training manager if you have a profile, limitation, or restriction. All medical profiles must be pre-coordinated with formal training managers NLT 35 days prior to the class start date. Formal training managers will coordinate profiles with the Paul W. Airey NCOA. Upon arrival in the flight room, all medical profiles must be given to Flight Instructors by the end of DOE 1. 
 
Permanent Profiles
Personnel with a certified permanent physical profile (AF Form 422) are eligible to attend BUT subject to approval. Provide a copy of the AF Form 422 to the Formal Training office for coordination with the Paul W. Airey NCOA NLT 35-days prior to class start date. 
 
NOTE: Students with fitness assessments that expire during class, uncoordinated profiles, or uncoordinated changes to their profiles are subject to immediate release from the school. 

Funding
The Schoolhouse cannot provide information related to DTS/Funding (Lines of Accounting, Cross Orgs, etc.) as we do not have that information.  Please reach out to your Base/Formal Training Office or AETC TDY-To-School for assistance. 

Travel
TDY students are required to stay in base lodging unless otherwise noted in the reporting instructions from the Academy.

When booking return/departure flight, please DO NOT book before 1700 day of graduation.

Deferments
If you are unable to participate fully in the class, you will need to work with your chain of command and Base Training Office to get a deferment within 72 hours of class start date and to be rescheduled into a future class; the schoolhouse cannot assist you in this process.

Personal Clothing  

Appropriate business casual attire will be required for student Ice breaker event according to ANCOA Student Business Casual MFR.

Uniform Requirements   

All uniforms will be in compliance with AFI 36-2903. 

Uniforms must be maintained, clean, and in serviceable condition (not frayed, worn out, torn, faded, patched, etc.), correct in design and specifications, and fit correctly. If deemed otherwise by the Commandant, students will be required to acquire new uniforms at their personal cost.

Required:

• Service dress\Blues will be required for this course. Full-Service Dress (Class A) and Service Dress (Class B) with correct accoutrements and flight caps

• OCPs are the primary uniforms of the day. We recommend you bring at least two sets IAW AFI 36-2903. OCPs are defined in AFI 36-2903 para 5.1, “The non-fire-retardant and improved hot weather combat OCP uniforms are the only OCP uniforms authorized to be worn by all Airmen.”

• One set of Air Force PT Gear. PT will be conducted as a class or flight for fitness challenges/competitions where PT gear is required. Please note the weather for the season you are attending the course.

• OCPs are to be worn with the correct accouterments, and a patrol cap or beret (if authorized) is required for all Drill and Ceremonies. OCP Fleeces are also required.

Due to conditions in the building, it's advised that all students bring some type of authorized layer to be worn under the OCP blouse. Even during the summer months, temperatures can fluctuate throughout the building and we cannot control this.

Please ensure all additional accessory items are in compliance with AFI 36-2903, Dress and Personal Appearance of Air Force Personnel. NOTE: Uniform discrepancies in service dress and OCPs that are deemed unserviceable or critical demerits requiring tailoring that cannot be brought into compliance could result in removal from the course.
