  • RHS trains CES community at Silver Flag

    Airmen from across the Civil Engineering community come for a 10-day course in rapid airfield damage recovery and bare base operations at Silver Flag and Tyndall Air Force Base. The Airmen learn an array of skills from the Red Horse cadre, and put all of the knowledge to use during an exercise known as OPERATION SILVER STEED at the end of the course.

    U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor pilots from the 43rd Fighter Squadron out of Tyndall Air Force Base swapped the ‘hot seat’ to increase sorties at Eglin AFB, Florida, July 2, 2019. ‘Hot seats’, where a pilot gives control of the jet to another pilot, and ‘hot pits’, Pantograph Fueling Stations, gave the pilots more training time in the air.

    Gulf Coast State College (GCSC) kicked off their first class since Hurricane Michael on Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, June 20, 2019. Tyndall AFB and GCSC have a partnership which allows students to attain a Community College of the Air Force certification and other associates and/or bachelors degrees.
