COLONEL MATTHEW H MOLLOY

Col. Matthew H. Molloy is the commander of the 325th Operations Group, 325th Fighter Wing, Air Education and Training Command, Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. The 325th Operations Group is comprised of nearly l,400 personnel in four fighter squadrons, an air control squadron and an operations support squadron. The group trains F-15 and F-22 pilots as well as air battle managers for worldwide assignment to the combat air forces. The colonel is also the principal advisor to the 325th Fighter Wing commander on training and operational issues.

Colonel Molloy is a 1987 graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colo., where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and a commission in the Air Force through the university's Reserve Officer Training Corps program. The colonel completed Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training in 1989 and is a command pilot with more than 2,900 flying hours in the F-15 and F-22. He has commanded at the flight, squadron and group levels.
