COLONEL MAX M. MAROSKO III Colonel Max M. Marosko III is Commander, 325th Operations Group, 325th Fighter Wing, Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. The 325th Operations Group is comprised of one fighter squadron, a training and resource support squadron, an operations support squadron, and a detachment. The group trains F-22 pilots for worldwide assignment to the combat air forces. Colonel Marosko is also the principal advisor the 325th Fighter Wing commander on training and operational issues. Before arriving at Tyndall Air Force Base, Colonel Marosko served as the Military Assistant to the Commander, Allied Air Component Command, Izmir, Turkey. Colonel Marosko received his commission from the United States Air Force Academy in 1991. He has served in a variety of positions at the Squadron, Group, and Wing level, including Fifth Generation Fighter Branch Chief, HQ PACAF and Commander of the 433d Weapons Squadron, 57th Wing, Nellis AFB, Nev. Colonel Marosko is a graduate of the USAF Weapons School where he has served as an F-15C and F-22A Weapons School Instructor Pilot. Col Marosko is a Command Pilot with more than 2,600 hours in the F-15C and F-22A.
