Tyndall Launches Checkered Flag Exercise 19-1

Airmen and aircrew from across the Air Force launched exercise Checkered Flag on Tyndall AFB, Florida on May 6, 2019. Checkered Flag is a large-scale aerial exercise designed to integrate various aircraft to enhance the mobility, deployment, and employment capabilities of U.S. Air Force members. During the two week exercise, units are evaluated on all phases of air-to-air combat operations in a realistic environment.
