Tyndall’s Raptors return to Europe
Airman 1st Class Jon Wanser, 95th Aircraft Maintenance Unit crew chief, assists an F-22 Raptor pilot before takeoff at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., April 11, 2016. The 95th Fighter Squadron deployed to Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, to participate in training with other NATO aircraft. The ability to rapidly launch F-22s with a complement of additional pilots, an embedded maintenance support package, and accompanying fuel and munitions, allows for enhanced airpower flexibility for combatant commanders.
