Community Relations

The 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs community relations division provides the public with opportunities to talk directly to Air Force people and observe Air Force readiness first hand. These activities include coordinating and conducting base tours, processing requests for military aviation support at special events, coordinating requests for Air Force band participation at local events, and is responsible for organizing official appearances and speeches by base leaders.

Base Tour Requests

Base tours are offered to local civic organizations and schools to educate people about the U.S Air Force and Tyndall Air Force Base missions. We do not provide tours to individual people or families on vacation.

All tours may be cancelled at any time to meet mission requirements. Final confirmations will be provided two weeks before the tour date.

Tour groups must meet the following requirements:

Size: Tours are limited to a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 40 participants. Requests to split the tours into two days for larger groups will not be accommodated.

Transportation: Organizations must provide their own transportation to Tyndall. On-base tours are limited to one government transportation bus load. Requests to use multiple vehicles cannot be accommodated.

Dates: No more than one tour per week.  (exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis) Tours are only offered on a first-requested, first-served basis.

Mobility: Tyndall does not supply handicapped-modified buses. It is assumed that walking and stair climbing will not be an issue.

If your group meets the following criteria, please call us at (850) 283-3333 or e-mail your request to 325fw.pa.publicaffairs@us.af.mil
